Customs regulations for Switzerland (valid since July 2014)
Tobacco products (only for people at least 17 years of age)
Cigarettes 250 pieces or

Alcoholic drinks (only for people at least 17 years old)
Up to 18% vol. 5 liters
Over 18% vol. 1 liter
For meat, there is now a uniform duty-free amount of 1 kilogram in total. Milk and dairy products, eggs, vegetables, fruits and cereal products are no longer subject to duty.

Shopping can be made up to a total value of 300 euros. Fuel in the main tank of a motor vehicle can also be imported duty-free. In addition, 10 liters in the reserve canister are tax-free if the canister is brought in by car or motorcycle. The tax-free imported fuel may only be used in the vehicle with which it was imported.
